Apple Orchard Lifestyle Photography {Let's Get Personal}

I guess I can call this a photo session, but it was really just a fun morning spent picking apples and soaking up the flavors of a Fall in full swing :) This is one of my few personal posts, and I hope to keep posting about our adventures in the future so you can get to know more sides of the girl behind the camera. I want to share with you the kind of stuff I love that makes life beautiful in my mind.

There is something so perfect about day dates. Especially when we get to explore our new home here in Boise! After our morning at Tyler's Rocky Point Orchard in Emmett (and sneaking in lots of pictures!), we took some time to walk around downtown Eagle and sit down for lunch at Bodacious Pig- delicious! Seriously. The afternoon of discovering small-town charm brought me back home to my little Oregon coastal town- I can't wait to visit next month!

A little more about the photography here- these are similar to the kinds of images you could expect from a lifestyle session. It's all about the capturing the details of everyday life and telling your story!

{Maverick} Welcome to the World!

I think it's so important for everyone to step out of their comfort zone every once in a while and try something new that may be out of their element. I am so grateful for good friends who encourage me to do just that, while at the same time trusting me with some of their most precious memories. I loved the hour I spent with this beautiful family :)

{Rexburg Idaho Temple}

These were commissioned photographs for a friend- I loved having the challenge of photographing something a little outside of the usual. A shout out and huge thanks to my sweet husband who braved the cold with me!

Update: This photograph was chosen and published as February's feature for Deseret Book/ LDS Living's 2014 House of Faith Temple Calendar. "Proceeds will benefit the Church’s General Temple Patron Assistance Fund, which provides financial assistance to those who need help to attend a temple and participate in the sacred ordinances offered there." I'm so honored to be featured in a publication that can help bless the lives of others!
